• The (benefits) advantages of polyester mono-filament Screen Printing Fabric are as follows:

• Mono fabric is made of mono-filament (Single strand) polyester yarn.

• Mono has a more abrasion resistant as compared to multi-filament polyester fabric

• Mono has a very high resistance to stretching and thereby ensuring an exact register.

• Mono is never influenced by usual temperature fluctuations or humidity. Hence, exact register is maintained from beginning to the end of the printing process.

• Large size printing.

• In monofilament fabric, colour penetration is better because of the compact surface as compared to multifilament. In multifilament, colour residue remains between the individual filaments and are difficult to remove. So there is a possibility of chocking of the frame.

• Cleaning is far easier with a monofilament fabric than with multifilament weave.

• Multifilament yarns are usually thicker than the corresponding monofilament yarn. Thus, the free printing area would be too small in multifilament fabric in same mesh counts against monofilament fabric. Thus better printing results can be obtained in mono-filament fabric.

• Colour consumption depends principally on fabric thickness and is much reduced by using mono fabric with their finer threads. This shortens the drying time considerably. Efficient work can be obtained especially on high speed automatic machines.

• Mono lifts off readily from the printing base, avoiding ink smear and allows the machine to be run at higher speeds.

• Mono is highly acid proof and insensitive to light.

(b) Fabric made from single strand in 20, 40, 60, 80, 100, 140, 160, 200 mesh size are our regular products and are available as per requirement in width up to 140" – Regular-45", 68" and 92"

All the above fabrics are manufactured for textile screen making. These fabrics are also used for filter cloth in gum industry, Pharmaceuticals, Chemical industries as well as Dairies.

We have recently started manufacturing of higher mesh fabric in polyester for graphics printing. This fabric of international standard quality is woven on Sulzer looms, thereby, leaving no scope for any inconsistency in the quality of the product.

Besides, Polyester Screen Printing Fabric in fine mesh woven from Sulzer looms is also available for graphic screen making.
